Marvelous
and Memorable Birth!
Latifa Hajib-Niles
January 19, 2001, I gave birth to our first child, a
little boy whom we called Nâhel Marley. Three
and half year later, June 7, 2004, was born our daughter
Ayhémé Sanaa. Although the arrival in
the world of our two children was marvelous and, forever,
memorable, I must admit that the course of the birth
of our daughter was an experience much more enriching
and deeply transforming for me and my husband...
Grace
While Giving Birth
Terese Poiron
I gave birth to my first child at age 39. She was 9
lbs., 6 oz., 22" and born vaginally, without drugs
or need of sutures. The pain, which others had warned
me of, was never as bad as my worst fear of it. In fact,
during the most challenging parts of labor, I was able
to "ride" my contractions and get beneath
the pain...
I Knew I Could Do It!
Olivia Hamel
I was a mother of two and 5 months pregnant when I was
introduced to
Marie-Paul. The two first pregnancies had been healthy.
I didn’t know much during the first one and followed
the doctors’ ways. I wanted to have my second
child without the epidural because I felt it would be
better for the child and me...
Too
Easy to Be True
Jennifer and Roger Anderson
I'm sorry it has taken so long to get word out to everyone.
Nathaniel (aka "Nate") was born on Thursday,
July 17 at 3:40pm. He was 9 lbs 12 oz and 22 inches
long and is very peaceful. He has had a little trouble
sleeping so far. He loves to sleep, however the midnight
to 3am time seems to be his favorite wakeful period...
Smooth
Labor and Delivery
Ilene Blaisch
Marie-Paul was became my brother's girlfriend at the
time we met. I was five
months pregnant (my first and only pregnancy at age
39). It is almost nine
years later and I am blessed with a beautiful, talented,
sensitive and
delightful eight year old daughter named Rachel. I was
at the time SOOO
ready to have a child of my own (already had three step-kids)...
You
Instilled Me with Confidence!
Amy Buesing
Hello, I wanted to again thank you for all of your assistance
with my birth. Had I not seen you, I don't think I would
have made it through drug-free. In addition to equipping
me with relaxation skills that were pertinent to how
I dealt with each wave, you instilled me with the confidence
I so needed...
No
Medication Needed
Melissa Atkinson
I just wanted to let you know that I had the baby! Zachary
Collin Atkinson was born at 11:25am on February 12,
2005, weighing 8lbs 1oz! and measuring 21 inches. The
whole birth went wonderfully and everyone was very impressed.
It was not painless, but everyone says I did not look
like I was in labor at all, and I was well able to cope
with the pain without the help of any medication...

Wonderful,
Anxiety-Free Delivery...
Nicole Frantz
I was so happy with my hypnosis for childbirth training
from Marie-Paul. I had a great delivery. I believe that
I had the very best birthing experience possible as
a result of the hypnosis practice. Before discovering
C.H.T., I was very anxious about childbirth. I had some
minor complications during labor that decreased my mobility
and made it more difficult to get comfortable, but in
spite of that I was calm and centered...
I Felt Empowered...
Karina Amaya
I consider hiring Marie-Paul Baxiu as my birthing instructor
one of the best decisions of my life. She is much more
than just a teacher, she is a person that wholly believes
in what she does and infects positive energy to everyone
and everything around her. She is extremely knowledgeable
and very effective as a hypnotherapist, doula and childbirth
educator...
Breastfeeding
Miracle Story...
Karina Amaya
I never thought I would be able to breastfeed. I was
diagnosed with tuberous breast at the age of 14. I was
told by my physician that women with this condition
usually had a minimal amount of milk glands and rarely
were able to breastfeed exclusively if at all. Knowing
this, and wanting to look and feel like a normal teenage
girl, I underwent my first reconstructive surgery with
the consent of my parents at 16 years of age. I went
on to have a total of three surgeries in which my nipple
was removed, cut, and then reattached while at the same
time having whatever milk glands I did have severed.
After the last surgery, I barely had any feeling left
in my nipple and they were always flat. My physician
was sure that I would be unable to breastfeed...
The Birth We
Planned and Hoped for: Our Dream Birth--In A Hospital
Clara Bellar and Gulu Monteiro
We have no words to describe how grateful we are to
her, our "birthing coach" as we affectionately
like to call her. Had she not prepared me physically,
emotionally and intellectually for the marathon that
a natural birth is...
I Got In
Touch With My "Primal" Side...
Justine Park
I hired Marie-Paul as a childbirth educator to work
with me throughout mypregnancy with my first child.
We met in a yoga class and immediately I was drawn to
her kind nature. I contacted her when I was about 14
weeks pregnant and we began our first sessions using
hypnosis to ease me through my pregnancy and plan for
the labor and delivery, which I was planning...
Coming back
for my 3rd Childbirth!
Margaret S.
I had a wonderful experience working with Marie-Paul
for the birth of my daughter. She is very passionate
about her work is someone that I trust and admire. I
was referred to her by UCLA Medical Center in 2004 and
I was able to experience something amazing through use
of her techniques. She is now guiding me...
My
Second Labor was Quick, Powerful, Natural and Just Plain
Good!
Abigail Revasch
I don't know why but when I started thinking about
the birth of my second child suddenly the idea of hypnosis
for childbirth interested me. I had never done hypnotherapy
before and was totally uninterested in the idea for
my first birth. But after having a wonderful first birth
in a hospital surrounded by two wonderful midwives,
I realized that there was still something missing for
me. I still didn't really know how to deal with the
pain of childbirth. I knew it was possible but I hadn't
really been able to master it...
