Dear Marie-Paul,

Hello, I wanted to again thank you for all of your assistance with my birth. Had I not seen you, I don't think I would have made it through drug-free. In addition to equipping me with relaxation skills that were pertinent to how I dealt with each wave, you instilled me with the confidence I so needed.

By making me feel as though I could do it, and helping me re-conceptualize my ideas about contractions (waves) and transition (transformation), I was able to turn the experience into something positive and wonderful.
